I am an associate professor working at the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Agder. My Research interests Knowledge networks and knowledge management particularly in distributed contexts. I am also involved with research and teaching on Enterprise systems. I am interested in new IS trends such as social computing, the web 2.0 phenomenon and the evolution of the Enterprise 2.0. Additionally, I am also paying attention to the ongoing debates concerning the appropriateness of different research methods within the IS domain.
Education I received my Ph.D. in IS from the University of Oslo, Department of Informatics. The doctoral thesis is entitled: A knowledge networking lens: Making sense of intra-organizational networks of practice. I received my M.Sc. in Information Systems from UiA in 2002. I hold a Cand. Magister degree in Analytical Chemistry and IT and Information Systems.
