Me And My Blog

About this Blog

Isn’t it comfortable and easy to turn on the heater if it’s cold or to go by underground on a rainy day? In our daily live we usually keep a distance to nature. Of course it is a hard task to leave your comfort zone. However what happens if you do so?! As we are a part of nature we should take part in it.

On this blog I will give an insight into my experiences on the outside. I am studying outdoor education for one semester at the Universitetet I Agder in Kristiansand, Norway. During this semester we will go on various field trips, we will take part in the beautiful surrounding called nature and learn how to be a “veileder“ (guide). Being a veileder enables us to guide groups on outdoor trips and teach them a caretaking handling of nature.

About me

My name is Adele and I am from Hamburg in Germany. Things I love are sports (especially football) and nature. Since I was a child my family and me spend all our holidays somehow connected to sports and nature. Biking, canoeing, trekking, climbing… it wasn’t always fun to be out there however it was challenging and adventurous. Hence I kept on spending time in nature and it led me to study human movement and biology at the University of Hamburg. I want to show people how nature effects them and in which way to take care of nature. Participating in the outdoor education program will bring me closer to this goal.
