1. Red spirit: not much power, therefore take a long time to melt snow, use in summer is better, 1 Bottle in winter lasts for 1 person for 3 days, mix it with 10% water so the pots don’t get black
2. a bottle with lamp oil connected via an adapter, has more power than red spirit but it can spill when opened so its not that comfortable
3. Gas: you need a gas adapter, the gas has to be warm so carry it close to your body when arriving at the campsite, take it into your sleeping bag overnight, using a bottle with hot water in your sleeping bag you could putt he gas inside the next morning so it stays warm, also to get the rest of it out of the gas bottle

for winter don’t use a water mix, use a winter mix with butane and propane

1 bottle of gas lasts for 3 days for one person in the winter
