- Did you go through the materials provided before the group task? If yes – was it helpful during your group work?
I watched the video linked in OneNote, and checked out only Popplet because that was the only tool that seemed decent that I havn’t tried. We only used facebook and google docs, which i was already familiar with, so it didn’t help us with the group work, but it made me aware that those tools existed.
- What do you think about the task instructions – what was clear and what was not?
It was clear, but since the task was about communication and group work tools, i expected a verbal communication program was allowed, which it wasn’t. 🙁
- What do you think about Google docs as a collaboration tool for writing and discussions? Pros and cons?
Collaboration tool for writing is very effective, but the discussion is more time consuming than effective. I rather like speaking on skype or other communication programs while working in a group.
- Do you think you benefitted from the group discussions, why or why not?
I didn’t quite benefit from the group discussion, other than discovering alternative collaboration tools for group work.
