Hi!
Welcome to my site. Here you are given the chance to take part in my semester at the University of Agder in Norway. From time to time I will upload pictures and assignments but first of all, let me introduce myself and explain my reasons for being here.
I am Dominic, 23 years old and born in Germany (Stuttgart). After school I moved to Heidelberg to study sports science and geography. During my studies I made the plan to study one semester abroad. To be honest, I planned to go in the south (e.g. Tenerife) but did not push on with planning. From September to December 2015 I did my practical term that is required during my studies. In early October I received an email by the Erasmus coordinator of the sports faculty. Attached was this link (http://www.uia.no/en/studies2/courses-in-english/outdoor-education) and the information that the application deadline is in a week. After reading the course description and watching the video it was crystal clear to me that I have do this amazing programme. I love being outside to hike, paddle, climb and do trekking. Besides improving my knowledge I saw the chance to gain more experience of which I can benefit in my work as teacher and moreover in my life.
To put it in a nutshell, I am a young energetic guy who loves sports and being outside. I hope to get the chance of testing new things and improving my skills I already have. Last but not least, I want to get to know me and my limits better and push them (a bit) further.
