Map, compass and navigation day organized by Norweigan students
The third monday trip traditionally took place in Jegesberg. We were divide into group. My group was consist of me, Flo and 2 Norweigan guys. I really like idea that we change group every week. It is good way how get to know new students from Norway and people from our group.
The main topic of the day was navigation. The first taskt was somethink like a orientation race. We got a map with 6 number, which we had to find. We can use only map (without legend), compass and our skills. It was fun and we could practise work with map and compass. Everybody from our group was leader and me even for three times. Every point hided a one picture witch map legend. When we came we had to connected picture with map legend. A lot of groups were on the way so we started prepare our lunch on fire.
After lunch we continued with smaller games:
- Run and throw – ten times turn around stick and throw to the bucket.
- Noughts and crosses with run
- Direction game – north, south, east, west. Members of two teams close their eyes and listen to orders. They have to move with their body, who do mistake is out of the game.
- Connected legend of the map with pictures – It was more difficult then after orientation race. More pictures, more details, more mistakes!
