Today was more skiing but organised by our group, the Internationals, we did exactly the same as Monday but without the Norwegian students, rather than just doing warm up games we went straight into skiing on both routes (1km and 4km).
The first one went pretty easy, I had to learn how to snow plough to help go down the slopes slowly and safely, and as this was my first time skiing for a longer distance, it ended up with a rather hefty fall at the end.
The 4km route was much harder though, all the techniques we learning had to be practiced and executed properly, which took me much longer to my annoyance. After completing the 4km route we started lunch with a fire again and some lovely Norwegian hot dogs, although not very nutritious they were hot and tasty; it took us a while to get the fire started at first, but we managed in the end.
After lunch we did another short circuit route which went really well and easy, and then decided to go home. The whole day had a sense of urgency to it, maybe because this was the first time without any teachers or locals to help us, but I think it went really well and I learned a lot regards to skiing and myself, as cliché as that sounds.
