Today we went with the Norwegian students the same area in Jegersberg and did some team building activities including shelter building, snow man building, ski relay and finding objects blindfolded.
We were split into four groups with both International and Norwegian students, with 4/5 of them in charge, these leaders had a different way of taking charge of the situation, they liked to see how the day would go and asked us how we wanted to do things which was nice and refreshing but also showed how they didn’t have one person in charge.
Starting with the shelter building, my group finished in the quickest time with a day time shelter for somewhere to sit and make food, the other group made a really good sleeping shelter using snow and the surrounding foliage, so they won the task.
We then moved to the ski relay where we got split again into three teams and raced around a small track with very icy conditions that obviously made it very hard to move at all. Then it moved to a special race where one person had one ski on, two people are tied together the other person has three skis but no poles, this was really fun because it wasn’t something everyone was good at.
The third task was building a snow man and it was boys vs girls, the girls decided to make a dog with a sled and the boys made a pyramid, the different types of snow sculptures were hilarious to look at afterwards.

The final task was being blindfolded and finding objects in the snow with the rest of the group, this was fun because the snow was different levels so we kept falling over and being dizzy.
