29/3 – A German, A Lithuanian and A Danish Monday trip

This Monday trip we wanted to make a fun day, where it really wasn’t about the route or how difficult the route should be. But it was about what the teambuilding doing the different activities.

We meet up at Spicheren and divided the group into two groups. The first activity were there at spicheren. Here the concept were to use something the surroundings to build up the activity. At spicheren there were a slackline, which we use to lay down the base of the quiz that we had made. The quiz were based on random facts, so the focus still would be at the walking on the slackline.

There were 5 rounds and the two teams did great and not at least there were a smile here and there. It was a great way to get the day started, because we were ‘just’ going for a hike in Jeggersberg. Doing the hike we had different people lead the way.

Further on after a while of walking, we had the next challenge of the day. This was the Danish challenge that were based on historical perspectives of that Danish people are really focused on eating healthy and there for were the two groups going to pull carrots. It sounds fairly essay, but not when its group A that are the carrots and therefore were laying on their stomachs facing each other, being really close towards the middle and holding on to each others arms – like real carrots own roots.

Then the Danish farmers (group B) were going to pull out the carrots, by pulling in the legs. They had 5 minutes to pull and get all the carrots out of the «ground». In this we made a few different various for the farmers, 1 minute it had to be a girl and a boy pulling, 2 minute: switz Farmers, one girl and one boy again, the next 2 minute two people pulling and the last minute everyone could pull.. This challenge made the team build within the group stronger and everyone got some scratches, sand in the undies and tired muscles.

The rest of the trip had familiar challenges, like ‘pulling the ‘germans’ over the Berlin Wall’:

or the Lithuania drunk raise:

The hike ended with bonfire and a pyramid challenge on top of «the upside down boat».
