Convicted of having carried drug money In August 1992, Majed El Abtah was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment for having assisted in importing 1.7 kilos of heroin to Norway. El Abtah was connected with the case because he, in April 1991, had brought DEM 20,000 from Oslo to Germany for a friend.
