Self-Organized trip in Jegersberg 21/1

With Julian, Jonas and Max

We decided to make our self-organized trip in Jagersberg. We made it maybe a little bit more sportive, than we were supposed to do. Me, Julian, Jonas and Max met up at my dorm in Kongsgård Allé. We made up a plan what we will do, where we will go and what we will cook. When we had got to the Jagersberg, we split up into to two groups. Me and Julian had a sportive cross-country skis and Max with Jonas had a school cross-country skis.

We left our stuff at fireplace with benches in Jagersberg I went for skiing. It was really nice weather for cross-country skiing. There was a sun and blue sky, temperature about -6 °C. Everybody was in a good mood.  We made 2 and half 4km laps with Julian. In the middle of our journey we met the others – Max with Jonas. They came to us over the frozen lake. Jonas made some nice photo, especially photos of icicles are very beautiful.

After we got back and met up at fireplace, we were a little bit tired and sweaty. So we changed our clothes to be dry and warm. The best thing (if it is dry weather) for this occasions is the down jacket. I really like it. After we changed our clothes we made a fire using a wood which was there since our Monday trip and some other wood which we found in the forest. Max and Jonas made a fire using lighter and knife for wooden chips. Me and Julian made a baking sticks using a knife. We baked sausages and apples with bread and cheese. It was a very tasty lunch and nobody cared about smelling like bacon.

After the lunch we had about 40 minutes break. We talked, got to know each other better. We also had a sunbathing time. We really enjoyed the sun, because there aren’t so many sunny days in Kristiansand.

After the break we made with Julian another two laps. These two laps were much slower and we just enjoyed the time being out on fresh air in nice nature a doing some sport. Jonas and Max went for another tour somewhere to the centre of Jagerberg. After this second part of trip we met up again and went together to our dorms.

I liked our trip very much and I have to say, that everything worked good. But there were no stress situations which would test our communication and group work.
