Organised by Norwegian students
We went again to Jagersberg. Task for that day was teambuilding activities. All activities were situated at glade nearby the entrance to the forest. The glade is approximately fifty meters wide and 50 meters long. It’s perfect for doing multiple activities. There are some little rocks, woods, lake and forest all around. We’ve been divided into the four groups. Each group had different task. There were four different activities and every group had to try every of these activities. All of the activities were competitions.
First activity was searching multiple things with covered eyes. One of the group members had covered eyes and the others had to tell him which way he/she should go. The things which we were supposed to find were covered between the trees. It was real fun and challenging. We needed to communicate a lot and the guy who was searching had to focus on with all senses except sight. The role of Norwegian student was explaining activity and paying attention if something went wrong.
Second activity was special ski relay. There were four guys in each group and everybody had to move different way. First way how to move was with one ski on with poles. Second way of move was using both skis without poles. The third way was really special. Two guys were supposed to run together with legs tied up. Every pair was able to use just two poles. Norwegians were just explaining what we are supposed to do. This activity involved mainly communication.
Third activity was building snowmen. We’ve been divided into groups of three guys and everybody was supposed to build snowmen or snow statue. It was a sculptor competition. Actually some of the sculptures were very good. Norwegian students were just judging the sculptures.
Fourth activity was building shelters. It was again a competition. We were supposed to build shelter which is suitable for all the members of the group. Norwegians gave us some recommendations what we should use and where to build the shelter.
I really enjoyed that day. It was well prepared and my main outcome is involving communication and involving building shelter.
