Hva er god klasseledelse?

Det er mye som ligger i begrepet «god klasseledelse». Læreren skal lede elevenes læring og utvikling på skolen. Det er viktig å være en rolig, trygg og tydelig leder i klasserommet. Det første man som ny lærer i en klasse bør gjøre en å utvikle en positiv og støttende relasjon til hver enkelt elev. Alle elever har behov for å bli sett og verdsatt!

Samtidig er det viktig å etablere og opprettholde struktur, regler og rutiner. Rutiner og struktur gjør elevene trygge og regler må til for å holde ro og orden i klassen. Det er viktig å ha tydelige forventninger til hva elevene skal prestere og motivere dem til å nå dette målet. Med dette på plass etablerer man en kultur for læring og et fellesskap som støtter læring. Det er viktig å skape et godt sosialt miljø og fellesskap i klassen som igjen er med på å styrke elevenes forutsetninger for læring og videre utvikling.

 

Samarbeid i team

Det er en forutsetning at kollegaene føler seg trygge på hverandre for å kunne skape en kultur for læring i et lærerkollegium. Dette for å kunne dele erfaringer både på godt og vondt. Man vil kunne utveksle erfaringer ved å få kjennskap til andre kollegaers praksis og ved å dele sin egen. Fortrolighet, tillitt og dialog må til for å utvikle et fruktbart samarbeid.

Som nyutdannet lærer er det spesielt viktig å skape gode relasjoner til sine kollegaer og vise seg som en god teamarbeider.
