{"id":116,"date":"2015-04-06T15:00:15","date_gmt":"2015-04-06T14:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/home.uia.no\/sharow14\/?page_id=116"},"modified":"2015-04-06T16:09:24","modified_gmt":"2015-04-06T15:09:24","slug":"student-organized-field-trip","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/home.uia.no\/sharow14\/assignment\/student-organized-field-trip\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Organized Field Trip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Planning process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Group Names<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Katja, Anne, Jais, Sharron, Will<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leave 0845 Friday 20<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Back on 23<sup>rd<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Equipment\n<ul>\n<li>1 tent<\/li>\n<li>2 Stoves<\/li>\n<li>Avalanche probes<\/li>\n<li>Food for 3 days<\/li>\n<li>Personal equipment<\/li>\n<li>Route\n<ul>\n<li>Day 1: Hovden to Tjoornbrotbru Cabin 13km (Escape: Back to Hovden or Cabin)<\/li>\n<li>Day 2: Tjoornbrotbru Cabin to Camp at 4150,6596 7.5km (Escape to Tjoornbrotbru Cabin) (Get there and practice technique)<\/li>\n<li>Day 3: Camping at: 4150,6596 to Berdalsbu Cabin 7.64km<\/li>\n<li>Day 4: Berdalsbu Cabin to Nordheim 5.6 km<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Group dynamic processes before and after<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our group dynamics were really good.\u00a0 I would not say that there was much of a change within our group dynamics before or after the trip.\u00a0 I think our group did a really good job at everyone pulling their own weight.\u00a0 I felt that everyone on the trip was a vital member of the team and it wouldn\u2019t have been as fun or as successful without our whole group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Execution of the field trip<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The trip went according to plan.\u00a0 The one thing that could have gone better was buying the bus tickets before we got to the bus station on Friday.\u00a0 We got a horrible deal with the bus tickets.\u00a0 The morning after having slept outside though a winter storm we decided to eat our lunch for breakfast since we did not have to cook that and get on the road straight away.\u00a0 We knew the hut was close so we had our breakfast at the hut later that day for lunch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our group had some challenges when it came to going down hills.
