We were supposed to do a self organised trip to local area. So we decided to go for a nice birthday hike to Barnehia, where I haven’t been yet. It was Saedis 23. birthday, so everyone brought nice food and some music. Adam, Caitlin, Joey, Dom, Saedis and me met at 11 o’clock at Kongsgard and started walking to Barnehia. The weather was just perfect, clear sky and sun, so we could even walk without jackets! After a nice gently walk in Barnehia, we stopped beyond the lake and started to collect wood for our fire. As the last days have been quite dry, it wasn’t hard to find good firewood. We started the fire without matches, candle, lighter or anything like this. We just used dry gras and fire starter. Everyone was hanging around the fire, talking, making fun and enjoying the sun. It was a really nice and chilled atmosphere. After finishing my cider I was so tired, that I just layed down on the rock and got a nice nap in the sun. At around 3pm we headed back to city or home.

I think this was a really nice and relaxed day trip. And sun was a big part of it. This week has been so nice so far, because the weather was just perfect, so you wanna spend as much time outside as you can. It is incredible how weather can affect your mood.
