
{"id":44,"date":"2014-02-11T18:24:55","date_gmt":"2014-02-11T17:24:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/home.uia.no\/veritt13\/?page_id=44"},"modified":"2014-06-05T10:31:45","modified_gmt":"2014-06-05T09:31:45","slug":"comparing-the-outdoor-act-norwayengland","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/home.uia.no\/veritt13\/assignments\/comparing-the-outdoor-act-norwayengland\/","title":{"rendered":"Outdoor Recreation Act"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Recreation act Norway<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2018The purpose of this Act is to protect the natural basis for outdoor recreation and to safeguard the public right of access to and passage through the countryside and the right to spend time there, etc, so that opportunities for outdoor recreation as a leisure activity that is healthy, environmentally sound and gives a sense of well-being are maintained and promoted.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cultivated Land<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cultivated land is considered to be: farmyards, plots around houses and cabins, tilled fields, hay meadows, cultivated pasture, young plantations and similar areas where public access would hinder the owner or user. It is forbidden to access or use cultivated land for passage unless granted permission by the owner.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Uncultivated Land<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uncultivated land is land that is not considered to be cultivated. Any person is entitled to access and passage through uncultivated land at all times of year, so long as care is shown.<\/p>\n<p>Any person is entitled to pass through cultivated land when the ground is frozen or snow-covered, but not in the period from 30<sup>th<\/sup> April -14<sup>th<\/sup> October.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fires<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fires are permitted on camp sites in forest so long as the area is left with no trace of people being there, this includes the whole camp site.
