Hei der! 🙂

Welcome to Norwegian Friluftsliv blog. My name is Laura, I’m 22 years old. I come from Catalonia, specifically a town called Igualada. Back home I’m studying to become a teacher of primary school and here I’ve been doing Outdoor Education aka Friluftsliv during this semester in Kristiansand, in UiA.

I arrived in Norway the 4th of January and since that moment on everything changed; the perspective of seeing things, experiencing the nature, outdoor activities, the cold in winter and the “less-cold” season in spring/summer, meeting such a nice group of people with who I share interests, hobbies, magic moments, trips, hard moments, parties, beers…

The word friluftsliv was unknown for me before coming (for obvious reasons, never speak or studied Norwegian before) and I can say that from now on this word is full of meaning, this word includes a lot of things, personal experiences, shared moments, landscapes, weather, animals, and Norway.

I invite all of you to take a look on the reflections of the trips we have done here, so try to put yourselves in my place, in my mental map, to see how do I lived and experienced things here, my impressions and reflections of what was going on during that period of time. It has been the best choice of my life without any doubt, coming here alone without knowing anyone, and leaving with the feeling that I have a home in several countries, apart from here, Norway.

Greetings peeps!
