Preamble
This page of the internet contains revised versions of graduation thesis of six students from TU-Dresden. Their work was executed under my supervision at Agder University College in Grimstad, Norway. Their work is of high quality, and all six students got very good marks. The students research supports the claim that the optimal network arch saves 50% to 70% of the steel needed for other steel bridges. The students work will be useful to anybody who wants to design a network arch.

The authors take no responsibility for mistakes in their theses, but they would like readers to make them aware of obvious errors. Corrections can be sent to Per Tveit, HiA, N-4876 Grimstad, Norway. In due course, the errors in the graduation thesis will be corrected.

The work of Stefan Wendelin and Stephan Teich are on a road bridge spanning 135 m. It is in German.

The work of Uwe Steinmann is on a double track railway bridge spanning 100 m. It is in German.

Benjamin Brunn and Frank Schanack have improved on the bridge in Steimann's thesis. Their work is in English.

The work of Räck is on a combined road and railway network arch bridge spanning 160 m. It is in German.
