Som en profesjonell lærer må jeg også være observant på hvordan relasjon jeg har til forskjellige individer, om jeg har et subjekt-subjekt forhold eller et subjekt-objekt forhold. Det optimale er å ha et subjekt-subjekt forhold, som er et jeg-du forhold(Bergem).
Løgstrup(1905-1981) sier at vi må ta vare på det liv som er lagt i våre hender»(fordringen/fronesis). Som en profesjonell lærer er det viktig at jeg viser skjønn, dømmekraft og intuisjon og er sensitiv. Det viktigste er at jeg opptrer uselvisk.
«Læreren som omsorgsperson» og «læreren som forbilde» står det i dokumentet lærerrollen. Læreren som omsorgsperson mener jeg er en lærer som er genuint interessert i hver enkeltelev.
