This blog is about the experiences and trips I undertake as part of my exchange to Norway, from January to June 2017. On here there will pictures and posts about the activities I do.

About me.

My name is George Jones and I am 21 years old. Currently I am studying Outdoor Adventure Leadership and Management (OALM) at The University of Worcester. I have travelled to Norway for the second semester of my second year to gain a perspective of outdoor education from a different point of view, therefore I am studying at the University of Agder I Kristiansand for 6 months.

I come from a town called Dronfield, which is near Sheffield in Yorkshire which is Northern England. I Have a large family with four brothers and four sisters, I am number 6. I have a girlfriend called Lydia who I have been with for 6 years.

I have experience in hill walking, climbing, mountaineering, kayaking , and canoeing. I have just stared to sport climb and hope to develop that and the other activities I do through this course and also hopefully learn how to ski. I have my Climbing Wall Award (CWA) training and also my summer mountain leader (ML) training and I hope to achieve these by next year.
