Student organize trip

This time we made a plan and prepared for the trip.
Our destination is HOVDEN, which is four hours away from Kristiansand.  I, Stepan, Malte, and Jasmine are in one group.
Our aim was skiing at least 5km every day and heading to DNT Hut.

I prepared a sleeping bag, food, ski wax, etc.

When I first arrived, it was really nice because it snowed a lot, and before I started, I put wax on my skis.

But  it was because I was bad at putting wax on to skis, it was so hard to ski and hike because it was so slippery. I kept slipping and falling, and I kept falling, not going at least 10 meters, and every time my friends’ support to me, I couldn’t go forward. So when Stephan said to me put ski wax on again, he helped me put ski wax on and started to go again, after that, it was really easy to hike, like walking on the grass.

However, the sky became dark because I wasted too much time, so we couldn’t see the map and we couldn’t even see things around. So we found our way using my Google Maps! Everyone was asking how to use cell phones, but we used Google Maps and arrived at our final destination, DNT Hut. It was really dark at that time it was almost 22:00.

fortunate that everyone cheered and worked hard to reach the destination. Then when we arrived, there were Norwegians in Hut, talking to them and we ate dinner and fell asleep.

The next day, the weather was so nice that we decided to climb the mountain right behind us, and we went all the way up to the top, looked at the scenery, went downhill skiing, and repeated. I wish I could stay the same in the beautiful scenery.

Then we happened to meet Tim, who was teaching us during the last ski class! What a coincidence, I was so glad. It was a pleasure to see you again in another place.

Then we were making dinner and discussing how to get to our destination, which was told by the weather report to be careful of heavy snow and rain. After that, we asked Tim that it would be safe to go back tomorrow, so we changed our plan and planned to go back home, as we did the day before yesterday, we were planning to leave at 7 a.m. for fear that it would take a lot of time, but TIM told us not to worry that the downhill skiing would be too easy. So we decided to leave at 10 a.m.

The next day we were ready to pack our bags, and there were a really strong wind and snowstorm. We were getting ready and going down the mountain. It was difficult at first because there were many steep hills, but gradually we got used to it. It took just 2 hours to go down.

we came down the mountain really fast and it was exciting, but on the other hand, it was a sense of futility because it took us 8 hours to climb the mountain the day before yesterday. Then we went to Hovden, waited for the bus, and came back home.

The most important thing I got from this trip was that I should apply wax well before skiing. I thought I was a good skier, but it was really hard to skiing because of wax.

This opportunity made me realize that wax is really important for skiing.
I also felt that the power of my friend next to me is important. It was really nice to see everyone help and cheer each other up even though it was hard.
