What are the characteristics of a good leader

Role model, good communicator, open minded, respectful, understanding of different religions and cultures, knowledgeable/ experienced, when teaching can demonstrate the skill that they are trying to teach, approachable, confident in their ability, knows what their strengths are as well as their weaknesses. Professional – look the part, be the part, know your stuff, never bluff. don’t be all the gear and no idea. Be adaptable, flexible punctual. Passionate. Empathetic – putting yourself in the other persons position.

Understanding of other people strengths and how group members can work together – Laissez-faire and democratic leadership are my leadership strengths. I’m honest, kind, caring, fun and imaginative

– Autocratic leadership, loud clear directions, response to stressful situations, being decisive
